Episode summary
While vacationing in Florida at Cate's parent's home, Paul and Cate catch Bridget and Kerry on the evening news partying with a group of Spring Breakers. But before a punishment can be implemented, the news runs archival footage that features a young, wild Cate letting loose in a bar. Meanwhile, a jealous Paul meets Byron (Ed Marinaro, "Hill Street Blues," "Sisters") -- the man that Cate went out with during her college sophomore year -- and Rory befriends an elderly gentleman (Tom Poston, "Newhart," "Mork & Mindy") whose stories about World War II turn out to be more fiction than fact.

Fun and viewer review
This idea is quite original compared to other shows. I haven't seen this kind of ideas on other shows before, so this was a little like fresh air, new ideas.
PROS:
1) Great plot! While in Flordia, the kids discover how their mother flashed to a video camera when she was in college. The kids use this as an excuse for bad behavior.
2) It was really funny the whole Rory/Jake thing. I loved how Jake acted like a teenager! That was quite funny.
3) There's tension between Cate and Paul when a guy that Cate used to date during college turns out to be a cop in the area they are vacationing in.
CONS:
1) I'm still a little confused, I still can't tell if Bridget is the one who flashed to the news camera.
Overall, quite enjoyable!
