EPISODE SUMMARY

The eighth season picks up with Kitty and Red discovering their empty nest isn't very empty, even with Eric in Africa. Meanwhile, Hyde returns from Las Vegas, where he went to clear his mind after catching Jackie and Kelso in a compromising position. But when Kelso and Donna tell Jackie that Hyde planned on proposing to her, Jackie tries to win him back, only to discover that what happens in Vegas, doesn't necessarily stay in Vegas.LESS

fun and viewer review

I thought that this was a superb episode of "That 70s Show". With Eric and (later on) Kelso being gone all Season 8 long, this show will never be the same. Even though Season 8 is my least favorite season of the show, it really is not that bad and I don't see why everyone says Season 8 is unwatchable. Sure, the episodes aren't as funny as the first 7 seasons were but it's still funny and pretty good. The first episode of were Eric is gone for the Season 8 premiere and Kitty video taping what things have happened since Eric was gone. Kitty telling Eric the story about how she and Red found the bad of weed in the basement was absolutely hilarious. Kitty doing weed in the bathroom and getting high was hilarious. Fez doing his "Porky Pig" impression was funny. Also, Kitty video taping Red about how Red misses Eric towards the end of the episode was hilarious. It was hilarious Kitty was video taping Hyde and Jackie's argument. My score was a little low because a few scenes were a little dragged. Overall, a superb episode of "That 70s Show" and a superb start for SeasonIf any video is not working or any episode of any show is missing , share your comments .

EPISODE SUMMARY

Even though Hyde insists that he doesn't want a bachelor party, the guys throw one for him anyway. Randy puts Fez in charge of creating a way to get Hyde to the party without him knowing what's going on; Fez's plan depends on Kelso, who gets side-tracked by the new girl at the ice cream store. Meanwhile, Jackie wants to have a girls' night with Donna and is shocked to find out that Donna has become friends with Sam

viewers review

The show continues to go downhill, episode by episode. Randy is out of place, and always will be. Everything he says is incredibly annoying and it just bugs me that he's already in the main theme song, and he's part of the group already. When Big Rhonda was joining the group in season 4, Jackie tried to get her out, saying the group was really exclusive. Where's Jackie now? Not even Ashton Kutcher could hold this episode together considering his character is completely exaggerated. And as for Jackie & Donna's plot, it's all been done before. Remember when Jackie didn't like Annette and she went over to Donna's house to hang out? Same exact thing, except with a different person.

Donna is so annoying now, all of her jokes are obnoxious and not funny. She's like a completely different character. I guess without Eric, you can really tell what an uninteresting character she is. Then we've got Donna admitting that Jackie is her best friend, which was probably the only highlight, although I would have liked it a bit more emotional, like with a hug or something like that. What was with Kelso getting kicked off the force? What his whole plot was based on the past two seasons. Just a bad episode, everything is out of place, exaggerated, and not funny

EPISODE SUMMARY

Red and Kitty are celebrating their 25th Wedding Anniversary, and this makes Kelso think that it's time for him to get married. He decides to propose, but before he can do this, he meets Vic, a businessman with a proposal of his own; one that Kelso can't say no to. And Donna is upset that Eric hasn't contacted her from Africa yet.

VIEWERS REVIEW

Like someone else said on here, this episode felt way too rushed, I would have to say, this was one of the "better" episodes of season eight though, considering I found myself laughing more than I usually do while watching a season eight episode. Ashton Kutcher managed to hold up this episode with his presence, but the whole episode just felt like the writers trying write out Ashton Kutcher's character as soon as possible. The concept was good, but I felt like there should have been a follow up episode or something of that manner, with Kelso getting ready to leave, saying his goodbye's to everyone. His send off just seemed way too rushed.
Donna continues to be extremely annoying, it's as though she has nothing better to do than sit around waiting around for Eric to call her, how old is she, 21, 22? Why is she still living at home with her father? I thought after Eric left, she would embark on new things. Not hang around with Jackie all day doing absolutely nothing.
As for the proposal, it was a good cold opening and it was a nice fit in with the Forman's 25th anniversary, but then Jackie said no, and Kelso got a job with Bruce Willis' ridiculous character, which by the way didn't help this episode at all. Funny in some places, but just a rushed mess as a whole.

EPISODE SUMMARY

Samantha uses her work experience to help both Kitty and Donna liven up their relationships. On Sam's advice, Donna has some "bedroom photos" taken of herself, intending to send them to Eric, but a series of mishaps puts the photos in a very incriminating place. Kitty takes Sam's advice, and tries some new moves on Red that result in a big change for both of them. Fez has his dreams of what having a roommate will be like, but finds that the reality is quite different

VIEWERS REVIEW

Another one of the "better" episodes of season eight, comedy wise, but other than that, it was rather mediocre. The absence of Kelso & Eric completely broke this show. They managed to utterly ruin one of my favorite guest stars on That '70s Show. Allison Munn as Caroline, Fez's crazy girlfriend. Her character was extremely exaggerated, and all of her crazy moments that were comedic golden in season three were ruined in this episode with not so special crazy moments. The "Fez & Jackie" montage was entertaining, but the writers continue to be rushed. Jackie moving in all of a sudden, taking Kelso's room? The writers obviously just did that to fulfill the plot. Hyde has become a side character, and I always thought he was going to take center stage after Eric and Kelso left, not Jackie and Fez.
A quite clever ending, with Donna's naked picture floating around Point Place and eventually falling in the hands of Fez, but again, completely exaggerated in all places. Kitty's trademark hairstyle was ruined and just made the season all the less original, now that it feels as though were not in the 70s anymore, it's just a backdrop for the show now. Oh, and Randy is awful

VIEWERS REVIEW

This episode was completely devoid of laughter, so much things went wrong with this episode, I don't even know where to start. Well I guess I can start with, this episode was not at all funny, and it made me ashamed that I'm even a fan of this show. Don't get me wrong. That 70s Show is and always will be my favorite show of all time, but I don't even see this as That 70s Show, I see this as a random "wacky" spin off that's definitely not set in the 70s. 80s, 90s maybe.
You couldn't tell the difference if you watched this episode. Eric & Donna breaking up over the phone off screen this late in the game was absolutely dreadful. I felt like they just did that so they can make Donna hook up with Randy, the worst thing that has ever happened to this show. Why didn't Donna talk to Hyde? He obviously has helped her before. When her parents split up, when Eric left her at the altar. He wouldn't of just shrugged, he helped her out in the end of this episode.
Going for advice to someone she barely knew didn't make any sense. Even in the end, when Randy tickled Fez, he was so out of place and awkward, I felt like crying. Remember when Eric taught Charlie to do this? Charlie would have been way better than Randy in every sense. Leo was better as a question mark, it feels strange knowing that Leo was a veteran and once normal. Just a mistake in every sense. An awful episode that wasn't funny and just didn't make sense

EPISODE SUMMARY

The basement bunch is bored, so Randy buys them Fatso burgers, only Fez tries not to look pleased. When the owner Mr. Visotsky scolds them for using several ketchup containers, they decide to exact revenging by kidnapping his orders-taking 'talking' emblem, clown Fatso. Missing Eric, Donna gets excited by the kick she gets out of crime, Hyde wisely calms her down. When Red discovers what they have done, for once he smiles, as he hated the stupid clown (Jackie was traumatized by them since the age of 5). Kitty, however, is behind the 'save our monument' campaign, so Red soon pretends to share her indignation and orders reparation.

VIEWERS REVIEW

Entertaining, if anything else. I must say this isn't an awful installment to the season. It was just an entertaining half hour, that gives you some laughs from time to time. But of course we've got the same season eight annoyances.
Is Laura Prepon for real? I wonder what was going through her mind when she was reading the script. I really lost respect for Laura Prepon in this episode, she was just disappointing, and the fact that she was running around like an out of character idiot was extremely annoying. And how come no one else is noticing how ridiculous the characters have become? Watching the first episode of That 70s Show, you wouldn't think of Donna as someone who would want to kidnap, would you?
I'll have to admit, this episode was one of the better episodes of season eight, but we've got Randy who is especially annoying in this episode, and then we've got Jackie, afraid of clowns? Come on, That 70s Show, you can do better than that. When Fez threw the pickle on Donna's forehead and everyone laughed, I felt like the audience was forced too, it was not funny at all.
The good thing about this episode, is that it was entertaining and funny in small doses, but that's about it. Season eight continues with it's normal mediocrity

VIEWERS REVIEW

I cannot believe how awful and unfunny this show has gotten. That '70s Show was one of the best sitcoms on television when it started out, now here we are eight years later, and we have this sad attempt of an "episode." Remember when Kitty was funny? Now she's just an exaggerated shell of what she once was. It's like we get it, you drink a lot. Or with Red, it's like we get it, you were in the army. All the characters have been exaggerated, and what's up with Donna talking down on Eric now? It's just sad to see what this show has become.
The plots were awful, and not funny at all. Since when has Kitty thought of Fez as a son? Starting with this episode? Kitty & Fez have hardly had any interaction over the past eight years, why now? Danny Masterson is honestly the only person that is holding this show together. Just a terrible episode, that would make you want to throw your remote at the television screen

VIEWERS REVIEW

Not a bad episode of That 70s Show, it was sort of neither here nor there for this episode. We've got the regular season eight mediocrity but I managed to chuckle once or twice while watching this episode.
Why oh why did they add Randy to the transition scenes? He's so awful, and the whole plot with Donna trying to raise money was the worst. Since Laura Prepon has gotten incredibly annoying and uninteresting ever since Eric left, most of all she's been exaggerated, and that's what we saw in tonight's episode.
The Fez & Jackie Show continues when Jackie floods the apartment. This plot was okay, it felt a bit rushed in the end, and Fez just seemed plain cruel to Jackie when she accidentally flooded the apartment. I never liked Fenton, and the fact that they made him recurring this season just bugs me.
The only actual genuinely funny plot was Hyde and Sam's plot. Them fighting all the time to spice up their sex life, don't get me wrong, Samantha is and awful addition to the cast, but I loved the reactions from Red & Kitty, and this plot is where I got the most laughs from. Like I said before, Hyde is the only thing holding this show together

VIEWERS REVIEW

Now don't get me wrong, I love this show. But no one can convince me that this show has any kind of merit anymore. I am getting sick of these stories because they don't even fit with what the show is about. I dislike this episode but not as much as I dislike Reality TV.
I hate all reality shows. Not only that but they are not reality. I believe that people who watch these types of shows are really dumbing down society. And even worse are the people that are behinde making these types of shows. I just wish that one day these people will sit back and reilize that they are making america dumber. And america, stop watching this garbage. I Love Tv, but I refuse to watch something that is so unoriginal that they can't even muster up a script. Now my last attact is that these are NOT Reality Shows. These are NON SCRIPTED SHOWS. or GAME SHOWS. Get it right.
Now That I am done with my rant about that back to this show. This was a great show and they jump the shark alot. I really hope that they fix themselves. Well heres to hoping!!!

Useless personal assistant Jackie was scolded by her boss, TV talk show "What's up, Wisconsin" presenter Christine St. George, until Kitty's delicious brownies sweetened the dragon up. VIEWERS REVIEW

Although I did get a few laughs from this episode, I'm not a big fan on recycled plots, and that is what we had here. Remember in season four? "Leo Loves Kitty"? You might as well just have called this episode "Leo Loves Donna" Pretty much the same thing happened, Leo acted like well Leo as he liked Kitty or Donna. Sure it was funny in places, but it's all been seen before, to be honest, and That 70s Show is capable to do new things.
Mary Tyler Moore got some redemption here, she was pretty funny but the plot line was weak. Kitty's brownies? Really? Nothing was really going on in this episode, not a lot of things anyways, it just made this episode forgettable in some ways. Oh, the thing I wont forget is that god awful montage of Leo & Donna, why did people find that funny?
Hyde & Fez did absolutely nothing but stand around, people who are supposed to be the main characters, yet Mary Tyler Moore probably got more lines. Just an episode with potential, which obviously failed

EPISODE SUMMARY

Randy surprises and charms Donna with his unconventional idea of a romantic Valentine's Day date with a mystery girl- closer then she guessed, but Leo spoils his plans. Red shows Hyde he's prepared for all occasions calling for presents for Kitty, so the bastard robs Red's stash for his stripper wife and Kitty has kittens having to wait for a lousy improvised gift and learning why. When the "What's Up Wisconsin" couple of the month cancels last minute, Jackie can't find another replacement then Fez; his story and kiss-stealing pale compared to Christine St. George's insane ingratitude.

VIEWERS REVIEW

This was rather a funny episode, as Jackie works as a replacement couple with Fez Thefirstfiveksaresilent. It's pretty cool how, Jackie is a commoner to the modle's eyes. Poor Jackie. Oh, I wish I had an ice pack. Sorry!
Eaisely the funniest storyline was when Red has this stash that has Kitty presents. Then, Sam and Hyde killes them! My favorite part over all this was when Kitty made her own foot in butt joke. THIS is what i'm serching for!
Oh, Randy. It's Donna, huh? Hmm.. Don't get me wrong, I like the storyline. But, I don't like Dandy. It's not good. I mean, Donna forgets all about Eric. And, the biggest insult; Donna and Randy kiss. I'm glad Leo saved it, with his steak eating, and his monster truck tickets! (Oh, wait. Randy's.)
Overall, witht he exception of the Dandy kiss, this episode was wacky ad funny, zany and hard, need I say more?

When the friends find out that Donna is now into Randy, they just tease them. Red also gives his blessing, again to Donna's pleasant surprise, only Kitty calls her a whore as expected. The ever-present memory of Eric in the Forman home makes Donna break up with Randy and blame him for being so nice about it, till she admits he's too good to dump. Meanwhile Jacky, now Fez's even lowlier colleague at the hair salon, meanly gives his game away as 'serial dater' to co-worker Hillary, with a surprising result.

VIEWERS REVIEW

I get what the episode was all about. It was trying to fade out Eric and it was trying too get the fans to like Randy. Well, I'm sure it didn't do any of that. Honestly, I saw it as an insult to the Eric Foreman character and probably all of the fans of the show.
Randy & Donna on the Vista Cruiser? Seriously? Donna making out with Randy in Eric's room? I don't mean to sound like Kitty but I just couldn't take that. And Josh Meyers is probably good in other things but he just does not belong on That 70s Show. He's a weak character, and none of his lines are funny.
Everything Fez says now is devoid of laughter, especially that ridiculous fantasy. And Fez gets girls now? Are the writers getting high themselves? Since when is Fez the "player" of the group? Things just get worse as the season continues. I mean yes, I would be lying if I said the complete episode was devoid of laughter but there was just too much flaws in this episode to count.

EPISODE SUMMARY

William Barnett shows Hyde great tickets, but has a more modest, yet filial treat: house-sitting. Steven's resolve to be responsible can't resists the gang's party-hunger. In fact he's the worst table-jumper, too stoned to remember, and manages to damage a guitar autographed by a famous musician. It's ruined after attempted repairs and clean-up by Leo and Fez. Dad returns with one signed by Eric Clapton, and reacts remarkably to the truth. Meanwhile Donna discovers Kitty's semi-sanctimonious fury at her 'whoring' relationship with Randy is about none of them three nor loyalty to 'baby boy' Eric, but about his desertion. VIEWERS REVIEW

Hyde housesits for his father in this hilarious episode, with some humourous moments, like the party, Leo's guitar fixing skills, Fez's obsession with the toilet seat and WB having a son that disobeys him and destroys his valuable possessions, just like any other son does. The plot was hilarious, and mirrors the tension between Donna and Kitty now that Donna's dating again.
That too had some hilarious moments, like Kitty being stubborn enough to think she did nothing wrong, and Red having to hang out with Bob, proving how bad it is over there. The plot was very well plotted and adds to the hilarity of the episode, with Eric's absence being used to good storylines, even if it isn't the same show anymore

VIEWERS REVIEW

To put it quite plainly, nothing happened this episode. I guess that might be charm of many episodes of that 70s Show - the great comedy despite the fact that the show is not very plot driven - but now the entertainment factor has declined severely to the point where the one liners and short exchanges are so weak they can no longer carry the show as they once did.
The refreshingly random humor of Michael Kelso - especially in his relationship and exchanges with Hyde - was a huge factor in the show's overall entertainment value, and now that he is gone the show has lost that slightly stupid but unique comical dimension.
Randy, essentially the replcement character for Eric Foreman, is not funny and very one dimensional. The moments when his dialogue is designed to be funny fall flat, and they are all very similar - he tells a little silly story that really isn't funny every single time. Though Eric Foreman's character also relied on essentially a single tactic for his humor - his quick, witty jabs - his diaglogue was truly witty, unlike Randy's, and he was a real "smart mouth," in the words of the great Red Foreman.
What the show desperately needs at this point is a guest performance by Michael Kelso (played by Ashton Kutcher) and Eric Foreman (played by Topher Grace) to restore the initial unique character dynamic that made the show so successful and enjoyable in the past.
Let's just hope the finale is as good as it should be

To the basement gang's amusement, Hyde discovers that his marriage is illegal (bigamy): Samantha married Larry before Hyde. Although Sam claims to love only him, he decides to divorce her. Jealous to be the only single girl, Jackie draws up a list of qualities for her 'ideal man', which Donna points out actually describes her dream prince - Fez! After a promotion for his muffler shop goes really badly, Red has a verbal go at the competition and is offered a fat check to quit, and accepts - it's enough to retire.

VIEWERS REVIEW

This was the first episode of the eighth season that I saw on television, so I was very confused, given that there were three characters I'd never seen before, Donna's boyfriend, Hyde's wife and Fez's girlfriend, but the episode was still entertaining, though I did notice a dip in the quality that comes with dropping the funniest character and the main character.
Jackie going on to the next guy in their gang definitely shows a pattern, and with Fez constantly hitting on her, she'll probably eventually say yes. The beauty and the beast fantasy is pretty funny, as is Jackie's slow reaction to figuring out who her list pointed to. As for Red retiring and Hyde divorcing the wife I didn't know he had, the plots are both funny and also have pivotal moments, as Red stops working, Hyde becomes single, Fez has a girlfriend and Jackie gets a crush on Fez. The show may not be as good as always but the ideas haven't run out yet

Now Red finally has reached retirement, he realizes it's not really what he wants. Bored to death, Red grabs an opportunity to help out as handyman in the record shop, but drives the boys crazy, so Steven sends him home. Kitty insists he makes up, so Hyde wrecks things Red can repair at home - only to be told he's taking it easy after all. Meanwhile Jackie has finally admitted she wants Fez, who now is no longer chasing her but Hllary, and reneges on monogamy. Donna takes her to therapy with Dr. Hammond, whose patients include Kitty, and whose own marriage is the opposite of what he preaches as basis for a good relationship.

VIEWERS REVIEW

Finally! This series is going somewhere. I was disappointed with the episode "Keep Yourself Alive" as nothing happened in the episode and there was no plot. However, this episode and the previous episode ( "My Fairy King" ) gave rise to major topic and the plot of the series and hints how the series is going to end. Fez and Jackie are going to end up together. There's no doubt about that. This episode and the previous episode played a fine example. Many people won't like the idea that Jackie is going to end up with Fez, as they want her to end up with either Kelsoe or Hyde, but hey, they're not the writers of the show. Besides, it is pretty obvious who Jackie is going to end up with. There was tension between Jackie and Fez throughout the whole series and Fez has been chasing her throughout the years. So there's actually no surprises there. I am actually excited that this is going to happen.
This episode is good, but I probably won't enjoy the upcoming epsides as the main plot is just Jackie wanting Fez. There will probably be other silly gags that are not important. But at least we know where the show is going now. That's a plus

EPISODE SUMMARY

Red grumbles when Kitty invites the new neighbors, one of which is a car salesman who promised her a deal. Red changes his mind seeing Jeff and Josh are adult single men, pales when they find out they are a gay couple but is convinced by Kitty to give them a chance, until a sports team loyalty decides the deal. The basement bunch divides into disco-haters, who follow Hyde when he organizes an illegal record-burning party, only to extort outrageous monopolist prices, and true disco-lover annex Jackie, who sees it as their bond. Alas for her, Fez falls for Sarah. Meanwhile Donna is worried as all the girls either have been with Randy or still want him. Written by KGF Vissers

VIEWERS REVIEW

Randy is a fairly dull character, but when he just has a few lines an episode he can be considered funny, but in episodes like this, where he plays a major role, it becomes too much, because Randy just isn't very interesting or entertaining, though I get why the character is used this season. Other than this complaint, the episode is funny, with the disco burning plot taking main stage, with Fez abandoning his belief for a hot chick, and Jackie still trying to get Fez to pay attention to her.
Red's homophobia of the neighbours is hilarious, and the ending was hilarious, and a great reference to Red's love of football, and Bob's response is hilarious as well. Overall the episode is very funny, and most of the plot is great

EPISODE SUMMARY

After events at an anti-disco gathering, Donna begins reconsidering whether she wants to stay in a relationship with Randy. Fez and Jackie begin to hit some rough spots in their relationship

VIEWERS REVIEW

his episode is very pivotal, with Red and Kitty deciding to move to Florida with Bob, so they could help with Bob's "stupid bait shop idea" and this plot also affecting Donna and Randy's relationship, which comes to an end. The former is a hilarious plot with Bob finally standing up for himself, if only briefly, and the great back and forth between him and Red when he presents the idea, but the latter was sort of boring, and from the start with Donna's hesitation, it was evident the move in wouldn't work.
Of course the funniest plot was Fez and Jackie as she pulls pranks on him to get revenge, and Fez dying her hair, and all of it out in the open when he starts listing the million reasons why Jackie is a horrible human being, much to the delight of Hyde, and Fez suddenly going back to the needy self and trying to get her back as the role reversal happens again between the two.
Overall, this episode has a lot of decisions made, with Red, Kitty, and to a lesser extent Bob leaving Point Place, Donna leaving Randy and going to college, and Fez and Jackie having a blow out that their friendship may never recover from, and on top of that it's also a rollercoaster of laughs

EPISODE SUMMARY

Fez introduces his well-groomed friend Andrew Davies, from the West of their British-Dutch island, who suggests he returns home and adopts Fez's ambiguous attitude to the girls. At Bob's spurring, Randy makes a last futile attempt to get Donna back. Now the Foremans are moving to Florida, they must sell the house, but Red's host skills scare anyone away and Kitty rattles on about family memories till she throw a couple out herself. Reading his dad has sold the record chain, Hyde turns conventional, so the circle does an inverse intervention, then he gets more Groove news in person. Jackie proposes to Fez.

VIEWERS REVIEW

Hyde's un-intervention is the highlight of this great episode, and while the Randy trying to get Donna back storyline could have been lifted out, the rest of the episode worked really well as a setup to the final episode, with Red selling the house, after a few uninspiring tours by he and Kitty, and Fez's foreign friend comes over to join Fez's hatred of Jackie, resulting in Fez and Jackie actually being together, which the gang immediately bet against, this also happening in Donna's hundredth threat that she's going to leave town, Eric coming back proving this fact.
Hyde deciding to quit the circle is the funniest plot, since it's so unbelievable, and the fact that it turned out to be stress causing the hallucinations was a hilarious conclusion, and Hyde getting his own store is a great ending for his character, but the show's not over yet because anything can happen in the next, and final, half hour instalment of that 70s show
